Alysha is a proud local of the Prior Lake/Savage area, having graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2003. From a young age, Alysha was determined to pursue a career working with animals. At just seven years old, her family adopted a Lhasa Apso named Mags, and it was the special bond they shared that inspired Alysha to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology.

After earning her degree in 2008, Alysha began gaining hands-on experience through volunteer work at local animal shelters and veterinarians in Prior Lake, as well as with the Animal Humane Society. She extended her expertise internationally by supporting spay and neuter efforts in the Caribbean and volunteering at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand. Alysha also trained as a dog trainer, canine massage therapist, and a practitioner of kinesiology taping and Reiki healing for dogs. She currently operates Kinetic K9, a sister company dedicated to enhancing canine wellness, training and performance.

In addition to her veterinary background, Alysha is an active member of the Bloomington Obedience Training Club, For The Love of Dogs & The Dog Tank, and Fusion Pet Retreat, where she serves as both an instructor and trainer. She holds multiple certifications, including being an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, AKC Temperament Test Evaluator, AKC Fit Dog Instructor, and Fetch Test Judge. Alysha is also a board member for the Minnesota Boston Terrier Club.

As a recognized leader in the pet care community, Alysha is a proud member of the Minnesota Professional Pet Sitters Network, the Savage Chamber of Commerce and the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce. In 2023, she was honored with the 'Community Builder of the Year' Award by the Savage Chamber. Additionally, Alysha contributes her organizational and leadership skills to the popular Pets of Prior Lake & Savage Facebook group and annually helps coordinate Savage's Doggie Palooza event.

Alysha shares her home in Savage with her husband, Scott, and their dogs—Olive and Rocky Horror (French Bulldogs), Zero (American Staffordshire Terrier), Ouija (Boston Terrier), and a chicken coop. A passionate competitor, Alysha has earned national recognition for her dog training achievements. Alongside Olive and Zero, she has won three NADD National Championship titles in Dock Diving and consistently placed in the top ten for seven years running. In 2023, Alysha and Ouija received an invitation to the AKC National Obedience Invitationals. The entire family of dogs competes in various sports, including Dock Diving, Flyball, Agility, Barn Hunt, and Obedience. All of Alysha’s dogs are Canine Good Citizens. When not managing her businesses, Alysha and Scott enjoy outdoor activities that allow them to include their dogs.
